 In 1981, the Lee family, after many years of successful restaurant business in New York, opened their first location in Hopewell, Virginia as China Inn Restaurant. They introduced Mandarin and Szechuan cuisine to this city, brining exotic new dishes from New York to Hopewell. In 1989, there was a second China Inn opened in Warsaw, Virginia. Their incredible vanguard of authentic Chinese cuisine has continued to bring new creations to the Northern Neck Area. Though imitated by other establishments, China Inn’s unique tastes continue to be enjoyed by all people.
